Asturias Spring Trip

Llanes, Asturias

Now that December is in full swing it won't be long before we are looking forward to our Spring adventures. As always, it is best to start planning early, but if you're like me and tend to put things off until the last minute it is always good to have some good last minute options. That is why in this post I'm going to strongly rep Asturias.

The North of Spain has some of the most impressive landscapes I've seen and Asturias is no exception. There are many hidden beaches with crystal clear water and stunning cliffs. If you're looking for a relaxing get away this is it. The picture taken above is in Llanes, Asturias

The coast of Asturias is lined with beaches which makes beach-hopping easy and fun. I recommend you rent a car because public transport really isn't available for that kind of thing unless you are inside of the city.

Some people might complain about the water being cold but it is literally crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous. You can always lay on the beach or on a rock and warm up like a salamander =P

Gijón

I highly recommend you use one of the bigger cities as base, like Gijón, a city with a very nice beach itself and with plenty of green parks and all of the pulpo you can eat! If you guys need more specifics please feel free to drop me a message!
