My New Editor's Reel

I've decided to post about something a little different this time I hope you guys don't mind! It's been awhile since I updated my video reel/portfolio so I took some time to compile some of my favorite projects and edit a short reel to showcase my work.

Working on this reel really brought back some great memories of working on all of these different projects, from Prague, to Washington D.C., from App promo videos to short films, I've done a little bit of everything. One of the most exciting things about working in the Film and Television industry is that you can have a wide variety of jobs, depending on the project and size of the crew. I can safely say I've worked at every level of the video making production line but the most fun I've had has been while shooting on the field and editing in post-production.

Choosing a part of the production line to specialize in isn't always easy. It helps when you try a bunch of different jobs because then you can figure out which ones you enjoy most! It took me a few years to figure out what I liked doing but now that I know that video editing and camera are my favorite roles I will continue to specialize and hone those skills.
